| How
'SCT' Works ....
Static Contraction Training is a form of isometric
exercise whereby you exert maximum effort possible, in your strongest
position for the exercise.
It is a short, high intensity workout that maximizes weight, and
minimizes hold times.
Instead of lifting weight through the dangerous full range of motion,
you statically exert maximum effort against a resistance in your
strongest and safest position.
There are two workouts (A and B) initially scheduled three days
apart, alternating workouts, with only one repetition for each exercise.
The results of each exercise are recorded. When your progress starts
to slow as your recorded numbers show a plateau or decrease, additional
rest days are added between workouts.
Static Contraction Training shows optimal results when used in
conjunction with Simulated Altitude Training.
